Assalamualaikum again everyone,

Do not forget our 'date' this Saturday as usual ya...   

Insya Allah we will do a small remembrance of Prophet Muhammad's SAW birthday (with story telling, colouring & salawat) before Group 1 mini graduation for having completed Module 1 ...alhamdulillahhh... 

Group 2 are also welcomed but of course you need to come earlier at 10AM...   

The session for Group 2 will go on as usual right after that. This week, we will be exploring your sense of touch. So come fresh as teacher Fiza will do lots of fun & interesting activities with you....

Sessions on 12th February 2011 - the updates

Assalamu'alaikum everyone,

Just wanna update few pictures during last week's sessions...

Group 1 is making binoculars under the topic 'I Can See'. Actually, there was a slight technical error while making the binoculars which took so long...sorry guys! Other than this craft session, little khalifahs had fun in the reading circle and also did the 'Chicken Dance'...   

This session also marks the end of Module 1...alhamdulillahh...

Meanwhile for Group 2, they were having fun making their apple collage under the topic 'I Can Taste' & also tracing the alphabets 'a' & 'b'. They also did the 'Chicken Dance'. But teacher Fiza had forgotten to bring real apples to be tasted which would have made the lesson more interesting & meaningful....sigh...

Anyway, hopefully little khalifahs still had fun alright with friends...

Sessions on 12th February 2011

Assalamu'alaikum parents & little khalifahs,

Alhamdulillahh...we are already in February & most importantly it's in the month of Rabi'ul Awwal, the month that our beloved prophet Muhammad SAW was born. The best part still is Group 1 is finishing the 1st module too...alhamdulillah...   

So little khalifahs in Group 1, our session this Saturday will go on as usual with the last topic in Module 1 'I Can See'. 

And little khalifahs in Group 2 will proceed with the 4th topic 'I Can Taste'. Half way to go, guys!...     

Come with your new ALIMKids t-shirt ya...teacher Fiza would looooove to see you all in green...

ALIMKids Playgroup in the news!

Assalamu'alaikum everyone,

Alhamdulillahh...our playgroup is highlighted in the news again. Of course they did not come straight to ours in Wangsa Maju, but the fact that they highlighted it is enough to give us the limelight. Kudos to sister Dayang Lily Maznah Muas who founded this playgroup about 5 years ago. Teacher Fiza & all in ALIMKids Wangsa Maju couldn't thank her enough for the opportunity to share & experience the benefits especially for the little khalifahs. May ALLAH bestows us all with His rahmah & barakah in our effort of moulding our children to have a strong foundation of Islam as well as to be intelligent & active muslims leaders of tomorrow.

Sessions on 29th January 2011

Assalamu'alaikum all,

Alhamdulillahhh...what a looooonnngg break we had for CNY last week. And I just wish to have some more...

Anyway, here are the pictures from sessions on the said date...

This is Group 1 on the 7th week of Module 1 'I Can Smell'. They had fun making the elephant paper puppet & alsodancing freely using the ribbon streamers. The art session also tested them on their fine motor skill where they have to paste the elephant's goggle eyes onto the back of the paper plate...& they DID it (with little help from mummy, of course)...

And this is Group 2 in their week 3 of Module 1 where they explore their feelings. For the art, they produced double Smiley with happy & sad faces. They also played with the ribbon streamers which they enjoyed so much.

And there was a small belated birthday celebration for Aryna at the end of the session. Teacher Fiza baked the red velvet cake for her to be enjoyed with the rest. So whose birthday is next?
