Things happening on 12th March 2011 @ ALIMKids WM...^_^

Salaam again to all...

So what is it about the things happening tomorrow (12/03/2011)?...     

For GROUP 1, we are going to do activities in Topic 2 of Module 2, I Love Daddy. Make sure you don't miss this & please come on time because we are going to have a small birthday party right after the session...yeayy!!

And for GROUP 2, we are also going to have a small party to mark the end of Module 1 where teacher Fiza will give you your certificate of completion....alhamdulillahhh!!...   

But we are going to start a little bit late, i.e @ 11.30am. So, don't miss it yaa...

Teacher Fiza is really looking forward to meeting all of little khalifahs tomorrow for another fun time, Insya Allah...

Sessions on 5th march 2011

Assalamu'alaikum parents & little khalifahs,

Alhamdulillahhh...we are progressing very well with the playgroup so far. GROUP 1 has started the 1st session (I Love Mommy) of Module 2 (My Family & Friends). For this 1st session, little khalifahs tried finger play & sang to "Where's Thumbkin". They got their little fingers drawn with faces to indicate brother (thumb), mother (point finger), father (middle finger), sister (ring finger) & baby (pinkie). They also sang a song for mommies while waving ribbon streamers. To show how much they love their mommies, they made a special flower crown for their beloved mother...  

 

In the meantime, GROUP 2 was in the 7th session under the topic I Can Smell. They tested their sense of smell by smelling different types of items that teacher Fiza brought to class. The result...they can react to the smell they like or dislike...alhamdulillahh. For the arts & crafts session, they made a paper plate elephant with a looooong nose...   

Module 2 is starting!!...& sessions on 5th March 2011

Assalamualaikum all,

Alhamdulillahhh....we'll start Module 2 with GROUP 1 tomorrow, 5th March 2011. We just have 1 more spot for trial or perhaps to join straight in. The title for Module 2 is My Family & Friends. The 1st topic for this module would be I Love Mummy. So little khalifahs in GROUP 1...be ready to be attached even more with your mummy  tomorrow...  
 
For GROUP 2, we will further explore parts of your body by experimenting what your nose could do under the topic I Can Smell. We also still have 3 spots for trial. So hurry up...

6th session of Module 1 for GROUP 2

Salaam again everybody,

Just wanna share the picture of last week's session for Group 2 under the topic I Can Hear.

In this session, little khalifahs were introduced to the phrase Masya Allah. During Active Play, they were introduced to the rhythm sticks & how they hold it could produce different sounds (i.e soft & loud). For the Art & Craft time, they made a noise shaker with the help from mommies of course.

While Group 2 was doing this, Group 1 was actually taking a break before they start Module 2...:)

It's been quiet

Assalamualaikum parents of little khalifahs & all,

This place has been quite quiet for already some time! Thousand apologies for that matter as teacher Fiza has to juggle the playgroup among so many other things...

So, little khalifahs in Group 1 have had their mini graduation of Module 1 on the 19th February...alhamdulillahhh!!  

Congratulations to Athirah, Aliah, Elisha, Hana, Amira & Eiman.

On that day too, Group 2 proceeded with their 5th session under the topic I Can Touch. They were made to guess what were inside teacher Fiza's mystery bags just by touching them. They also needed to find their way blind folded in order to find their mommies just by using their sense of touch. The best part was when they enjoyed doing the Chicken Dance medley. And this is what they did for their art session...

...a caterpillar using their own finger prints...    

Notice the table used in the picture above?? Yesss...teacher Fiza bought little cute tables for the little khalifahs to practice writing, colouring & doing arts & crafts like above...    

With this hopefully everybody will be more comfortable & eager to come to class...
